In order to inform future and current graphic design students about the degree paths for graphic design at St. Louis Community College – Forest Park, I designed a 5″x5″ square typographical booklet with very little imagery. The idea is not only for them to have something they can quickly look at and see what classes they need for their degree path, they can keep this booklet with them and not be encumbered. The visual design is a play on the main colors cyan, magenta, yellow. Since these colors are the basis for all printed color it is also a concept that must be learned by all graphic design students. The design is organized, fun, and informative. Lastly, this design leads a person through the graphic programs and who to communicate with to find out more and take a plan of action.
